Plans & Billing

Synaptyx is sold as a usage-metered subscription (billed through Polar.sh ). You pick a tier for its included events, limits, and features; traffic above the included events is billed as overage.

The unit of usage is an event (essentially a tracked click/pixel event). Each plan includes a monthly allowance; beyond it you pay a small per-million overage rate.

Yearly pricing reflects ~2 months free. Limits shown are for the default workspace; white-label tenants define their own plans.

No / inactive subscription

Without an active subscription you’re effectively on a free tier: 1 campaign, no funnels/domains/teams, and 90-day data retention. Upgrading immediately re-lights the corresponding features and limits.

How feature gating works

Two independent mechanisms decide what you can use:

  1. Plan limits — resource counts (campaigns, funnels, domains, team seats). Hitting the cap returns a 403 at creation time.
  2. Feature flags — whole modules on/off (alerts, insights, smart routing, MCP, API, affiliates…). The default workspace has all features on; white-label tenants opt in per feature.

Downgrades

Downgrading never deletes data, but it enforces the new limits gracefully:

  • Excess campaigns and funnels are paused (the oldest are kept active).
  • Excess domains are deactivated.
  • API key scopes are narrowed automatically (re-lit on a later upgrade).
  • Data is retained per your new plan’s retention window going forward.

Usage & billing

  • A meter reports your event usage to Polar continuously — fire-and-forget, so it never slows down tracking.
  • The dashboard’s sidebar shows a usage meter (events used vs. cap, with an overage warning).
  • Manage your subscription, view invoices, and change plans under Plans & Billing (/dashboard/plans).

Retention matters for reporting. Your plan’s retention window is how far back clicks/conversions are kept before the retention worker prunes them. See Reliability → Data Retention.
